Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers provide critical support to The Center for HIV Law and Policy (CHLP)'s mission of reducing the impact of HIV on vulnerable and marginalized communities and securing the human rights of people affected by HIV. Volunteers dedicate their time and skills to equality and justice while gaining valuable experience in the non-profit world.

CHLP is currently seeking volunteers.

Volunteer opportunities include assistance with the following projects:

  • Administrative support;
  • Community outreach and education;
  • Development/ fundraising;
  • Language translation services (particularly, English-to-Spanish);
  • Technical support for our website and social media; and
  • Researching, drafting, and editing materials for the HIV Policy Resource Bank and The Fine Print Blog.

To apply to volunteer, please send the following to programassociate@hivlawandpolicy.org with the subject heading "Volunteer Application":

  • Cover letter (please specify why you are interested in volunteering with CHLP and which of the above projects you would be interested in working on);
